The Photographers Prayer

 

Oh God, as I bring my subject into focus and prepare to make each portrait, nerver let me forget that I'm creating treasures for some family, a keepsake for loved ones. Make me sensitive to the qualities and virtues of others, that I may draw out into the light the beautiful radiant belongings of their hearts.

Help me to be an artist, collecting the beauty of every soul, the glow of youth, the gentleness, the laughter or tears of each life that is precious in Thy sight. Deeper than a means of livelihood, give me the perspective to see my photographer's art as a service to others, making life richer and more memorable.

And, dear Lord, between the lights and shadows, the ups and downs and the rolling years, keep me from getting out of focus or off center, so that my life and work may be framed with dignity and colored with contentment ...

Tasha 2010 Senior

This session was almost cancelled due to rain but I am SO glad that the rain took a break!  Mother nature laid upon us a backdrop that was beyond words!  This young lady was sweet , beautiful and a natural in front of the camera!

Take a look and see the beauty that surrounds us every day, I feel so lucky to possess a talent that I can share with others. At the end of the day I can smile knowing I made someone  happy for many many years!

Molly 2010 Senior

The day started out wonderful, then it poured down rain for at least 1/2 hour, but then WOW, the colors changed after the rain.  I haven't seen such vivid colors in a long time.  This young lady braved the rain until we had to go inside a shelter and wait it out.

Once you see these images, you will see what I mean about the colors and Molly looked stunning  against the beautiful background.

You can always tell when I am super busy with sessions, I never keep my blog updated.  This girl was so beautiful and had such a wonderful personality that I could have photographed her ALL day!  She was such a natural I just have to share with all of you!

Wow, do I have some updating to do!! I've been super busy with amazing seniors and they are just one beautiful bunch. This young lady was so photogenic and an awesome model!!  She was even more beautiful in person!

Casey 2010 Senior

I really don't have to say much, but I will say ONE thing...this girl is BEAUTIFUL!  I really had a great time and it seems I am in the weeds more  than I am anywhere else.  Hey that is ok, because I get to hang out with beautiful people all the time.  I can't ask for more than that right?

Just a few for now as it is my BUUUUSSSY time of year, so enjoy this lovely girl, she was a natural!

Beautiful Baby B......

This is truly a child of god and example of pure innocence.  This little guy was so alert for a one week old but with a little milk and patience he soon fell into a peaceful slumber.  I absolutely love babies because of their sweet baby smell and the fact that they so innocent and depend so much on us to help guide them through their young years to that magical time of being an adult.

This has to be one of the most beautiful babies I have seen in a LONG time, of course I am biased, I think my kids were the cutest EVER.  Since now they are grown, I cannot say that anymore so I will enjoy babies through all of my friends and clients.

Enjoy this little guy as he will grow up very FAST!

 

 

Bradley 2010 Senior

This was the most laid back guy I think I have EVER photographed.  I photographed his sister last year and  cannot believe how much they look alike!  Brad, thanks for such a fun session, you coulnd't  have been a nicer guy and I wish you the best of luck when you graduate and move on into your new life as an adult!!

 

 

 

 

These children..

are awesome!  I usually try to get some images up right away, but I've been SOOOOO busy with the seniors that I have been a real slacker.  I am pledging to all of you as of right now that I will stop the slacking and keep you all up to date.   After all, if it wasn't for all of  you, I would have no blog at all!!

So, with all that said, please enjoy these awesome kiddos, they were so much fun and I was SHOCKED as to how big they got in only one year.    Enjoy!!

I almost forgot to tell you that I am working on a NEW BLOG...I am excited because the pictures will be HUGE and not cut off on the sides...I am SO happy. :)
